Cortez Converions Standard Jigmaster Side Plate Build

This is a tutorial for our Standard Jigmaster side plates, that will fit 500, 501, the and 99 width Jigmaster. It will also fit Tiburon and Accurate frames. The build is all stock with the exception of a Main Gear Sleeve (98-60) Coarse thread addition.

It is recommended the you visit Mysticparts.com and down load a schematic for the 500 Jigmaster for reference.

  • 2 stainless steel bearing cups with o-rings and 2 ABEC-5 stainless steel bearings.
  • Color matched Eccentric lever with 2 o-rings and stainless steel washers.
  • Delrin Eccentric Sleeve
  • Stainless Steel Clicker button, Nylon washer, Penn Dog, Cir-clip,   Clicker spring , and 2 stainless steel mounting screws.
  • 10 Stainless Steel Plate screws
  • Left and Right Side Plates

Fig.8 If you are using a Tiburon spool, these washers maybe necessary to complete your build. Simply press one or two onto the clicker side of the spool shaft, all the way down to the clicker wheel. This ensures clearance for the bearings.
